Ingredients

  • 400 g lean beef mince
  • 1 onion medium, finely chopped
  • 2 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 T garlic
  • 1 tbs curry powder (mild)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 cabbage finely shredded
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. Lightly spray a large saucepan with oil and heat over high heat.
  2. Add mince & onion
  3. Cook, breaking up any lumps, for 6–8 minutes or until mince has browned.
  4. Add soy sauce, garlic, curry powder, salt & pepper
  5. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until fragrant.
  6. Add cabbage and 1 cups (250ml) water and bring to the boil.
  7. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until cabbage is to liking.
